Level 1 Recertification

All high school sophomores and juniors who have completed Level 1 Training in a prior year and officiated in a prior year take the Level 1 Recertification Course. The fee for Level 1 Recertification is $49.00.

Level 1 Recertification consists of:

  • Online training material.
  • One on-field session. This is different from the on-field training used for Level 1 and Level 2; you will either be assigned to a group training session where you will work on-field and observe other officials working or be assigned a youth game to work (without pay) through ArbiterSports.com with an experienced official, who will grade your performance.
  • Online final exam.

Level 1 Recert students are also welcome to attend any of the UMLOA returning adult officials training classes they are interested in.
